STATEMENT

Will Kansas recognize same-sex marriage in 2004???

Whereas the traditional family of father, mother, and children has been the backbone and strength of civilization for thousands of years, I want to protect the traditional family by limiting the institution of marriage to a legal union between one man and one woman through an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Kansas, and of the United States of America.

Furthermore, I do not support special legal status, rights or inclusion in non-discrimination policies for any individual or group based upon their sexual identity, orientation or expression.

However, I do support ministries reaching out in love to the individuals caught in the homosexual lifestyle.
